PETERSBURG, FL – The schedule has been finalized and two state-of-the-art major league venues have been added to the 2010 Big Ten/BIG EAST Baseball Challenge, hosted by the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Sports Commission, event manager API Sports announced today. The Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) announced today the three teams that will represent USA Softball Women's National team program during the 2009 summer season, kicking off with the Canada Cup, July 4-12. Following an inaugural event in which nearly 17,000 spectators attended games in a three-day period, the second Big Ten/BIG EAST Baseball Challenge, hosted by the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Sports Commission, has been confirmed for the weekend of Feb. 26-28, 2010. The 2010 edition, to be held in St. Petersburg and Clearwater, FL, will feature 10 teams from each conference competing in 30 games and be managed by API Sports.

The Orioles and API Sports have teamed up to hold the official Orioles Baseball Summer Camps, offering youth ages 7-16 the opportunity to learn to play like the pros through a series of camps this summer in the Baltimore area. Camp participants will have the opportunity to receive baseball instruction from qualified professionals with years of experience coaching and playing at youth, high school, collegiate and professional levels.
